Very cool. I have always been a big fan of the 1911.

I am currently lusting after an IBM 1911 that a good friend is threatening to sell. I am trying to determine which of my guns I can live without in order to acquire it.

if I weren't so against evil handguns and were to have a CBOB, it'd wear black fluted linen micarta grips for training days and maybe a set of fancy wood ones from Sarge, so it'd be purdy at the indoor range. Might look sumthin like this

John, I should have been more specific. I'm just buying the grips to place them on the bobtail I don't own yet, never purchased, and will never buy. BTW - I was looking at Sarges grips but they were all SOLD OUT. Probably by evil bastards that actually own guns. I suspect these bastard gun owners hate us for our freedoms to purchase gun parts. :thumpdown

I put these on my Springfield a few years ago. Beats the hell out of the cheap wood grips that were giving me splinters.
